JAKARTA - PT XL Axiata melaporkan bahwa pelanggan Blackberry mereka kini berjumlah 815 ribu pelanggan.

"Akhir 2010 lalu angka pengguna Blackberry kami tercatat sekira 750 ribu, naik lebih dari tiga kali lipat ketimbang akhir 2009. Akhir tahun ini kami optimis raihannya akan mencapai 2 kali lipat dibanding akhir 2010. Sekarang saja jumlahnya telah mencapai 815 ribu pelanggan," ujar Oni Marbun, Senior Manager MDS Blackberry XL, di Jakarta, Senin (28/2/2011).

Untuk mencapai raihan itu, XL pun berupaya menarik pelanggan dengan paket baru XL BlackBerry 3 in 1. Promo ini akan berlaku di seluruh wilayah cakupan XL di Indonesia mulai 28 Februari hingga 28 Mei 2011

Paket baru yang diklaim pertama di Asia ini memberikan manfaat kepada pelanggan berupa tarif hanya Rp 125 ribu/30 hari (sudah termasuk pajak) untuk layanan BlackBerry Internet Service (Full Service), gratis unlimited nelpon 24 jam ke 3 nomor XL yang didaftarkan, serta SMS ke semua nomor termasuk nomor selain XL.

Dipaparkan Oni, pelanggan XL kebanyakan membutuhkan layanan nilai tambah yang mampu memaksimalkan Blackberry yang digunakan. Bahkan umumnya, mereka tidak mempermasalahkan mengenai tarif yang berlaku, apakah akan turun atau tidak. Dengan kata lain mereka merasa cukup nyaman dengan tarif dan kualitas jaringan data Blackberry yang ada saat ini.

Untuk masalah bandwidth Blackberry, XL sendiri menyediakan kapasitas hingga 1 gigabyte per second (Gbps) melalui dua penyedia layanan infrastruktur yang berbeda, sehingga menjamin jaringan XL untuk semakin handal. Hal ini menjadikan XL sebagai satu-satunya operator di Indonesia yang terkoneksi ke Research in Motion (RIM) dengan dual carrier partner, serta menjadi yang terdepan dalam layanan BlackBerry di Indonesia.

Dengan tarif Rp 125.000/30 hari, selain nelpon dan SMS gratis unlimited, pelanggan juga mendapatkan gratis BlackBerry Roaming ke-7 negara. Sementara itu, untuk 3 nomor sesama XL yang bisa ditelpon secara gratis unlimited, pelanggan bisa mendaftarkannya melalui *123#. Pelanggan bisa menelpon ke-3 nomor tersebut selama dan sesering mungkin. Untuk pengiriman SMS, pelanggan dapat mengirimkan pesan berapapun tanpa dibatasi jumlahnya ke semua operator seluler di Indonesia selama 24 jam.

Untuk mendapatkan layanan istimewa ini, pelanggan cukup mengirimkan SMS dengan ketik BB(Spasi) 3in1 lalu kirim ke 568 atau melalui *123# pilih menu BB 3in1, BlackBerry Full Service with Unlimited voice and SMS. Jika pelanggan hendak berhenti berlangganan, cukup kirim SMS ketik 3in1(Spasi)OFF kirim ke 568 atau melalui *123#. Untuk setiap perubahan nomor yang akan di daftarkan, pelanggan terkena biaya sebesar Rp1000 per nomor.
