In a press release in Jakarta ASUS reveals that his newest server is equipped with a system of four nodes in size chassis 2U with 12 DIMM slots per node, offers diverse functions, redundant power supply with high efficiency, hot swap when maintenance, remote management and ease of upgrade.

Performance computing four nodes to the extreme with 2U form factor leverages the capabilities of the processor series of the Intel (r) 5500/5600, RS724Q-E6/RS12 equipped with 4 nodes hot-pluggable in the form of server chassis 2U, where each node supports the use of 6-core CPU and 4-core, plus the availability of 12 DIMM memory slot that supports up to 96GB.

All high performance computing presents four nodes with compact 2U server form, with a total of 48 core computing capabilities and the availability of the 48 slot DIMM.

RS724Q-E6/RS12 also comes with a power supply 600W 80Plus Platinum 1. Double, for the configuration of power supply redundant that efficient, with power efficiency on average 88% (under load).
