Death toll in Japan So 60 people
Japan Earthquake, Visitors IOCity Panic Tokyo-the death toll of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan increased to 60 people. As many as 56 people reported missing.
Such information the National Police Agency Japan as reported by AFP, Friday (11/3/2011). Mentioned also 241 people were injured. While the private Nippon television, TV referred to the death toll there were 66 people.
"The damage is huge so it will take a lot for us to collect data," said a police officer.
Police in Iwate Prefecture, close to the epicenter, the number of people killed in the area as many as 17 people. The victims were killed mostly due to the collapse of the building.
Earthquake in Japan occurred at 12: 46 PM, centred on 373 km northeast of Tokyo. Miyagi Prefecture suffered the worst. As many as 400-an INDONESIAN CITIZEN living in the prefecture and not to be contacted.
