BMKG Unplug Tsunami warning in Indonesia
Japan Earthquake, Visitors IOCity Panic Jakarta-earthquake shook Japan with force spread to Indonesia 8.9 SR. and potentially cause a tsunami. But the Agency of meteorology Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG) then remove the warning.
"Early warning Tsunami caused by the earthquake in Japan Mag: 8.9 SR., was declared ended for all regions of Indonesia," so written BMKG through twitter and Facebook on Friday (13/3/2011) at around 8 pm.
The monitor station BMKG is the tsunami on the island of Sangihe Tahuna and Bitung, Flammable and Papua New Guinea. Originally estimated, a tsunami will arrive in Indonesia at 6.30 pm-8.30 pm CDT. However there are no signs of the coming wave of large tsunami so that a tsunami warning was lifted.
